Solstad, a Co-Se-bearing copper ore in the Västervik quartzites, Sweden

چکیده

The Solstad copper deposit, located in SE Sweden, is hosted by a quartz-rich rock sliver surrounded granite belonging to the 1.8 Ga Transscandinavian Igneous Belt. Ore petrographic studies have revealed number of previously unrecognized opaque phases, including several Co selenides and tellurides. Based on an situ U-Pb investigation zircons from mineralized sample, it suggested that detrital origin host xenolith c. 1.88–1.86 Västervik quartzite formation. A low-radiogenic galena sample implies source for metals ore has primitive origin, probably basaltic lavas (now amphibolites) are intercalated quartzite. Fluid inclusion quartz distinguish four distinct fluids: (1) hypersaline halite-bearing aqueous fluid related early (1.85–1.86 Ga) chalcopyrite depositional stage, (2) subsequent CO2-rich fluid, deposited native gold, tellurides, bismuthinite, developed (at ≥1.8 as result phase separation, (3), moderate- high-salinity did also develop at this event led deposition bornite (4) concluding, low-salinity stage ≤1.8 caused oxidation covelline digenite formed phases. It proposed deposit other Cu ± Co-rich sulphide (± magnetite) occurrences region along southernmost margin 1.9–1.8 Svecofennian Domain, represent type associated with quartzites amphibolites.

Type of mineralization and studies of fluid inclusions of the Bolboli2 copper ore deposit, northeast of Sirjan, SE Iran

The Bolboli2 copper ore deposit is located about 110 km southwest of Kerman and lies in the Dehaj-Sarduieh metallogenic belt (Kerman Cenozoic Mamatic Arc, KCMA). This ore deposit is hosted by the Eocene extrusive igneous rocks (tuff, agglomerate, andesite, and dacite) and the Oligo-Miocene intrusive igneous body (granodiorite). These rocks are host the propylitic, phyllic, and silicic alteratio...

The copper deposit of the Zamin Hossein district, Dehaj- Sarduiyeh metallogenic belt, SE Iran: Constraints on ore mineralization, alteration, and fluid inclusions

The Zamin Hossein copper deposit, as a part of the Dehaj- Sarduiyeh metallogenic belt, is located about 170 km southeast of Kerman city. This deposit is accompanied by Eocene volcanic (andesite, andesi-basalt and pyroclastic) and Eocene intrusive body (granodiorite and granite). The propylitic, sericitic, argillic-sericitic and silicic alterations are associated with this deposit. Chalcopyrite ...

Mortality pattern in a glass producing area in SE Sweden.

Because of discharges, mainly of lead, from glassworks in an otherwise rural and unpolluted area in southeast Sweden the population became concerned about the potential risks of cancer and an epidemiological study was requested. The total and the specific cancer mortality in the three parishes around the glassworks were found to be approximately normal, both by comparison with national death ra...

We present a formal game-theoretic model towards the explanation of implicatures based on the computation of iterated best responses: literal meaning of signals constitutes their default interpretation, and rational communicators decide about their communicative strategies by iteratively calculating the best response to this default strategy. We demonstrate by means of several examples how the ...

Moi Se-induced Bearing Loss and Bearing Protective Devices*

Longitudinal studies of hearing in workers in selected industries in Canada have shown that the effect of continuous high-level noise exposure is an increase in detection threshold of about 1 1/2 decibels per year. This is in contrast to 1/2 dB per year for non noise-exposed office workers in the same plants. Personal hearing protectors, in the form of ear plugs and muffs, have been chosen as a...
